Airlaid Paper

What Is Airlaid Paper?

Airlaid paper is a nonwoven absorbent material produced by dispersing cellulose fibers through an air-laid process, forming a uniform, porous and high-bulk structure.

Compared with conventional tissue paper, airlaid paper provides:

  • Higher bulk and loft

  • Better liquid distribution

  • Improved softness and flexibility

  • Strong compatibility with SAP and absorbent core systems

Key Advantages of Airlaid Paper

High Liquid Distribution Efficiency

Airlaid structure allows liquid to spread quickly across the surface, reducing localized saturation.

Softness & Comfort

Low bonding density provides a soft hand-feel, suitable for skin-contact hygiene applications.

Structural Stability

Maintains integrity during wetting, compression, and high-speed converting processes.

Customizable Performance

GSM, thickness, and roll width can be tailored to different diaper and sanitary napkin designs.
